I am a member of GCC and have been for many years. In fact, my husband and I are part of a small group that has been together for over 6 years. My husband and I recently moved to Huntingdon, TN. for a healthcare provider job (I am an FNP). West Tennessee is beautiful, but it is a string of one small church after another, and adjustment has been difficult. Painful. We miss GCC, our small group, friends, family, etc...We missed everything so much so that we were coming home!!! But there is something bigger than GCC, friends, and our wants brewing in my heart here. I have always felt that my profession is a calling, but God has more in mind. There are hungry people down here, and no services for them. They do not have big government agencies or churches to assist the poor here. It is many miles to nowhere in many of the places down here. Starting a Food Pantry or Source of Food for the needy is my next right thing. I am praying for How To's now. I know the mission, help me figure out the means....And "God. If I can't be in the heart of GCC, please put the heart of GCC in me."
